  ABOUT   FCH PLAYER PROGRESSION

OUR INTENTION IS TWOFOLD: first to prepare our players to participate responsibly and respectfully in their communities, second, to prepare our players for the technical, tactical, physical and psychological demands of Club, Collegiate and ultimately, Professional Football.

OUR WILL is what drives our intention. The willingness to serve something or someone other than yourself is the common thread that our staff share. Whether it be a player, a team, the community, or the game itself, we are all part of something greater than ourselves.

OUR SUCCESS as a club will always rely on the integrity of our staff, and their ability to help our players better themselves as footballers, and even more important, as people. Our staff share a common vision; at the top of the club pyramid are players and at the top of the player pyramid, there must be a highly competitive first team that emanates professionalism while maintaining constant interaction with all teams within the club.

PHILOSOPHY

At the core of Hasental's philosophy is the willingness to serve someone or something other then yourself. As teachers it is our duty to utilize soccer as a metaphor for life, and therefore the teaching of life-skills becomes Hasental's most valued tenant. We coach the individual to persevere respectfully while striving for greatness, which teaches them to be positive contributors to their team and most importantly, to their community. Together we have the opportunity to create a football club, that honors the beauty within the game, that chooses sportsmanship over winning, and holds in highest regard, the process over the destination. Behind every club badge there is a story. To everyone that wears the Hasental badge, help us write our story...... one day at a time, with respect, humility, and gratitude.

ORIGIN
Football Club Hasental was established in 2005, as an amateur club, based in the Conejo Valley of Southern California. The founders agreed on the name FC Hasental in honor of their European Roots. Hasental translates from German to English as Hare-Valley. In 2012, FC Hasental joined forces with Ajax FC Simi Valley youth soccer club, to create a community-based soccer club for footballers starting at 5 years old and continuing beyond 50 years young. Together the two clubs merged under the name FC Hasental to focus their attention on player and people development.

ACADEMIC ASSISTANCE
As a club, we understand that all of our players need to be prepared for life after soccer. By honoring academic excellence, we have created our after school academic assistance program. Our players have access to tutors to help them to manage their classroom experience, which is just as important as their field experience. To request more information please contact our Academic Assistance Program>

COLLEGE BOUND PLAYER
We are fortunate to have established good relationships with many Universities across the country and therefore are confident that as long as our players take care of their academics and continue to have a thirst for learning both on and off the field, we can help them get to the next level. To request more information please contact our College Bound Player Program>
